Getting
to the wedding
Please
check out our handy directions. The
ceremony and reception are both at the Kohl Mansion. There is plenty
of parking in a lot right outside.
Children
and infants
Wow
do we have a lot of friends with little ones! If your children will
be coming, we are going to have a sitter throughout the whole wedding,
along with a room set aside just for kids. We expect quite a few,
so don't worry about a thing!
Flash
Photography
A
small request from our Rabbi: Please do not take any flash photographs
during the actual ceremony. Thank you.

The Kohl Mansion
About
the Kohl Mansion
Since its completion in 1914, the 63 room Tudor Mansion has opened
its doors to countless famous people. The Kohl Family, during their two
year residency, lavishly entertained dignitaries and the Peninsula elite.
After Frederick and Bessie Kohl separated in 1916, the mansion stood unused
for quite some time, although it was maintained by a staff of servants
until Frederick's death in 1921.
In July of 1921, the mansion was rented to United Artists for the filming
of "Little Lord Fauntleroy", starring Mary Pickford and her
husband Douglas Fairbanks. The Hollywood "set" once again descended
on the estate for the recent filming of "Flubber", starring
Robin Williams.
Today, this National Historical Landmark is open for events and weddings,
such as ours!
